Training for 2024 BPS Agricultural Economic Survey Processing Officers, Central Mamuju Regency

Central Mamuju, 1 July 2024 - Central Mamuju Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held Training for 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) Processing Officers at the Central Mamuju Regency BPS office on Monday, 1 July 2024. This activity aims to equip officers with knowledge and adequate skills in SEP data processing. Given the complexity of the survey material covering various subsectors, reliable and competent officers are needed.

Head of BPS Central Mamuju Regency, Mrs. Sundari Budiani S.ST., M.Sc., in her direction stated that this training was very important to ensure the quality of the data produced. "This activity aims to equip officers with adequate knowledge and skills in processing SEP data. Considering the complexity of the survey material which covers various subsectors, reliable and competent officers are really needed," he said.

The opening of this training was attended by PJK Produksi, two training participants, one regional instructor, and one supervisor. The atmosphere at the opening of the training was orderly, with participants listening carefully to the instructions from the head of BPS.

SEP is one of BPS's efforts to provide quality data, especially in the agricultural sector. This survey aims to collect information regarding the characteristics of agricultural business units, income, expenses, investments, finances and insurance owned by agricultural business units. This information is very valuable for understanding real conditions in the field and formulating appropriate policies to increase farmer productivity and welfare.

With this training, it is hoped that SEP data processing officers can work more effectively and efficiently in processing data, so that survey results can provide an accurate picture of the agricultural sector in Indonesia.
