Coordination Meeting for BPS Office Land Preparation in Central Mamuju

Wednesday, June 19 2024, at the Central Mamuju Regency BPS office, a coordination meeting was held in order to prepare the land for the development plan for the Central Mamuju Regency BPS office.  This meeting was chaired by Assistant I for Government and People's Welfare of Central Mamuju Regency, Mahyuddin. In its opening statement, it was stated that the Central Mamuju Regency Government was willing to provide land which would later become the Central Mamuju Regency BPS office, but this would of course go through a long and time-consuming process because the land to be donated did not fully belong to the Central Mamuju Regency Government. 

Head of the Central Mamuju Regency Public Housing and Settlement Areas and Land (Perkimtan) Service, Paisal Anwar as the resource person said that an inspection had been carried out on the location which was planned to be used as the location for the Central Mamuju Regency BPS office. The location is in the KTM Benteng Complex, Tobadak Village, Tobadak District, Central Mamuju Regency. After carrying out the review, there were several obstacles that had the potential to hamper the land acquisition process, including the absence of recommendations regarding the suitability of land use, the official size of the BPN not yet available, improvements to the account code (Capital Expenditures/Delivered Expenditures/Grants) or the name of the plot map in the DPA, lack of budget and there is no DPPT yet. 

The Head of the General Section of BPS West Sulawesi Province, who was also present at the coordination meeting, conveyed several things related to the land needs for the Central Mamuju Regency BPS office based on the standards set by BPS RI. Apart from the Agriculture and Agriculture Service, this coordination meeting was also attended by Central Mamuju Regency BPN, Central Mamuju Regency Research and Development Bappeda, Central Mamuju Regency PUPR Service and Central Mamuju Regency Financial Agency. Based on the results of this coordination meeting, the Agriculture and Agriculture Service will follow up on BPS Central Mamuju Regency's request for land according to BPS land size standards.
