Towards an Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics

March 7, 2024 | Other Activities

On Thursday, March 7 2024, Central Mamuju Regency showed its seriousness in strengthening the quality of sectoral statistical data by holding coaching organized by the Central Mamuju Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This event is a strategic step in preparing the Central Mamuju Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) to face the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS).

The main objective of this coaching is to provide an in-depth understanding of the stages of implementing the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) and implementing One Indonesian Data (SDI), so that sectoral statistical activities in OPD can be carried out in accordance with established standards. Thus, it is hoped that the resulting statistical data will be of better quality and more relevant.

This event was attended by 19 OPD participants from Central Mamuju Regency and was held for one day at the Wisma Widya Buah Hall in Central Mamuju. Guided by experienced instructors from BPS, participants were invited to explore the concepts and best practices in managing sectoral statistical data.

In his remarks, the Head of BPS Central Mamuju Regency committed to fully supporting One Data Indonesia efforts through sectoral statistical development. "Through this activity, we will see how far we have achieved in providing quality sectoral statistical data, as well as formulating strategic steps to increase our contribution in supporting the One Data Indonesia vision," he said.

Through this activity, it is hoped that it can increase the capacity of human resources, especially data producers, so that the implementation of sectoral statistics can be carried out according to the stages of implementing One Data Indonesia and produce quality data.
