Recommendations for Central Mamuju Government by EPSS result and Give the Results of ST2023 Stage I

Following up on the Letter of the Main Secretary of BPS RI Number B-1401/02000/TS.160/12/2023 dated 1 December 2023 regarding the Submission of Recommendation Letters for Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) 2023, Head of BPS Central Mamuju Regency Sundari Budiani, S.ST., M.Si as the Person in Charge of EPSS in Central Mamuju Regency together with the team came to visit the Central Mamuju Regent's Office (21/12).

This arrival was welcomed directly by the Regent of Central Mamuju, H.M. Aras Tammauni together with the Central Mamuju Regional Secretary Dr. H. Askaty, S.Sos., M.Si. On this occasion, it was conveyed that based on the EPSS results, the 2023 Central Mamuju Regency Government Statistical Development Index (IPS) value was 1.01 with the predicate "Poor". The Head of Central Mamuju Regency BPS explained that Central Mamuju Regency's IPS is still relatively low due to several reasons, including Central Mamuju Regency being relatively young so that certain advantages have not yet been developed and reached a defined level of maturity. Apart from that, before the formation of Central Mamuju Regency BPS, Sectoral Statistics Development carried out in Central Mamuju Regency was still handled by Mamuju Regency BPS, which was located quite far away so it was not possible to carry out intensive guidance.

In addition to the agenda for presenting the EPSS Results for Central Mamuju Regency, on this occasion the Head of BPS for Central Mamuju Regency also presented the Complete Enumeration Results of the 2023 Agricultural Census for Central Mamuju Regency Phase I. Concluding this meeting the Head of BPS for Central Mamuju Regency expressed his hope that in the future there would be good relations and cooperation. between BPS Central Mamuju Regency and all levels of the Regional Government of Central Mamuju Regency which were welcomed by the Regent of Central Mamuju. Starting in 2024, the development of Sectoral Statistics for Central Mamuju Regency will be handled directly by BPS Central Mamuju Regency. Hopefully in the future the closer distance can increase the IPS score for Central Mamuju Regency.
