August 2026 Sakernas Training: Preparing Field Officers Before Data Collection

The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Mamuju Tengah Regency organized the August 2026 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Enumerator Training through both online and offline sessions to equip field officers before they begin data collection. The training started with online learning and continued with face-to-face sessions at Wisma Bahari Topoyo on 22 July 2026 for Class A and 23 July 2026 for Class B.

The participants consisted of Field Enumerators (PPL) recruited from Statistical Partners (Mitra Statistik) and Field Supervisors (PML) from BPS Mamuju Tengah. The training was facilitated by Regional Instructors Anisa Rahma and Miftahuddin, who delivered materials covering survey concepts, operational definitions, and field implementation procedures in accordance with the official Sakernas guidelines.

The training aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the survey methodology while preparing them for fieldwork. Throughout the sessions, participants actively engaged in discussions and raised questions regarding the application of survey concepts and the handling of various situations that may arise during data collection.

The Head of BPS Mamuju Tengah, Aan Setyawan, expressed his expectation that all field officers would carry out their responsibilities professionally and in accordance with the established guidelines. 

“I hope all field officers will conduct field operations in accordance with the guidelines provided and complete every stage of the survey on schedule,” said Aan Setyawan.

Through this training, BPS Mamuju Tengah expects all August 2026 Sakernas officers to collect high-quality, accurate, and timely labor force data to support evidence-based policymaking and regional as well as national development planning.
