BPS Mamuju Tengah Coordinates with OPDs to Update Construction Business Directory Data

Tobadak, April 17, 2025 – The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Mamuju Tengah Regency held coordination meetings with several Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs) regarding the Updating of the Construction Business Directory. The coordination was conducted over two days, from April 16 to 17, 2025, at each OPD office located in the Topoyo area.

The OPDs involved in this activity included the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR), the Department of Food Security and Agriculture, and the Procurement Services Unit (UKPBJ) of Mamuju Tengah Regency. The main objective of this coordination was to collect and align data on active construction businesses in the region so that the information possessed by BPS and the OPDs can complement each other and provide higher quality data for future development planning.

The discussions were lively, with all OPDs showing a cooperative attitude. Each party shared relevant information, including lists of construction companies that had previously partnered with the local government on various projects.

A representative from the PUPR Department expressed their support for the collaboration. “We hope that the data we provide can become an important part of compiling accurate construction statistics. Hopefully, the results will make a real contribution to the development of the construction sector in Mamuju Tengah Regency,” they said.

This activity marks an initial step toward building synergy between agencies in providing accurate and up-to-date sectoral data, while also supporting data-driven development planning.
