BPS Mamuju Tengah Celebrates National Awakening Day Emphasize Transformation Towards Indonesia 2045

Mamuju Tengah, May 20, 2024 - In commemoration of National Awakening Day, BPS Mamuju Tengah Regency held a ceremony. The ceremony was led by the Head of BPS Mamuju Tengah Regency. During the ceremony, Sundari Budiani, Head of BPS Mamuju Tengah, delivered a mandate from the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, emphasizing the importance of the second awakening phase to achieve "Golden Indonesia 2045".

The government stressed that technological advancement is the key to national transformation in the next two decades. Reflecting on the history of Boedi Oetomo, established on May 20, 1908, the need to create future ideas inspired by the past was also highlighted. New challenges in the digital era require mastery of technology as a primary condition.

The demographic bonus, with 60% of the population in productive age and internet penetration at 79.5%, is a significant potential. President Joko Widodo stated that the opportunity to become a developed country must be utilized correctly.

Digital transformation is expected to create new job opportunities, support economic growth, and enhance technology access to adapt to climate change. With the acceleration of national digital transformation, the government is optimistic that challenges can be overcome together, leading Indonesia towards "Golden Indonesia 2045".

The government invites the entire nation to celebrate the second national awakening with optimism and confidence, leveraging natural resources, the demographic bonus, and digital transformation as fundamental capital for a brighter future.
