On Friday, May 3, 2024, the Mamuju Tengah Regent's Office became the focal point of an important activity with the implementation of the 2024 Village Potential Census (PODES) by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Mamuju Tengah Regency. This activity stood out notably because it involved the Secretary of the Mamuju Tengah Regency, Mr. Dr. H. Askary, S.Sos., M.Si, as the main respondent.
The Village Potential Census (PODES) aims to summarize the potential of each district, sub-district, and village/urban village. Its goal is to produce several crucial indices, including the Geographical Difficulty Index (IKG), which will serve as a tool for both national and local governments in policy-making.
