On December 4 to 5 2023, the West Sulawesi Provincial Plantation Service held a "Socialization and Workshop on Plantation e-Statistics Applications" at Wisma Bahari Indah, Topoyo Market Complex, Central Mamuju. This event aims to improve the quality of plantation sectoral statistical data in order to fulfill the One Data Indonesia (SDI) principle. In this activity, the Head of BPS Central Mamuju, Sundari Budiani S.ST., M.Si, received the mandate as one of the resource persons representing the Head of BPS West Sulawesi Province.
In order to increase understanding and application of One Data Indonesia principles, participants from various OPDs and plantation sector stakeholders gathered to receive outreach on SDI principles, including meeting data standards, having metadata, meeting interoperability rules, and using reference codes/master data. A demonstration of the Plantation e-Statistics application was also the focus of the event, giving participants an in-depth understanding of the use of the application and the integration of plantation data.
The workshop includes data collection SOPs, providing clear guidance on how to conduct data collection effectively and efficiently. The practical session also gave participants the opportunity to share experiences and challenges in collecting statistical data on their plantations.
This event aims to bring positive changes in the collection of plantation statistical data for West Sulawesi Province, support the vision of One Data Indonesia, and encourage improvements in the quality of information on the plantation sector at the district and provincial levels.
SDI can be realized with active collaboration from various parties, such as SDI supervisors, data guardians, and various OPDs in Central Mamuju Regency. Therefore, active collaboration must always be carried out. With this workshop, it is hoped that the participants who attend will be able to gain knowledge and benefits to advance and realize One Indonesian Data in Central Mamuju Regency, especially regarding plantation statistics.
