The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) celebrates Mother's Day with the theme "Empowered Women, Advanced Indonesia". In the address to the ceremony/celebration read by Mrs. Sundari Budiani, S.ST, M.Si., it was revealed that this commemoration was more than just Mother's Day, but rather a momentum to strengthen the role of women in nation building.

BPS, with 46% female human resources from a total of 17,555 employees, emphasizes the contribution of women in various activities, both at the technical and policy levels. Data shows that the quality of female human resources at BPS is very good, with the majority having a bachelor's degree or above.

Even though it has achieved brilliant achievements in national statistical activities such as Regsosek, Agricultural Census, and KUMKM Data Collection, BPS remains focused on increasing the capacity, access and opportunities for women's human resources. This year's Mother's Day celebration is expected to be an inspiration for all female employees to continue developing their potential in order to build a better BPS.
